Clear cache on your Mac, safely.

Caches help apps load faster, but they grow without limit and old ones are never removed. DiskVoid shows every cache with its size and app, and clears the ones that are safe to rebuild.

How it works

Three steps with DiskVoid

  1. 1

    Scan caches

App caches, logs and developer caches like Xcode DerivedData are found in seconds.

  2. 2

    See what is safe

Each cache shows the app it belongs to and whether it is safe to remove.

  3. 3

    Clear

Remove them in one click. Apps rebuild what they need the next time they open.

Why DiskVoid

  • Covers developer tools

Xcode DerivedData, simulator caches, npm, pnpm, Yarn, Gradle, Maven, Cargo and CocoaPods.

  • Leaves the system alone

Only caches in your user Library are touched. macOS system caches are never removed.

  • Restorable

Removals go to the Trash by default.

FAQ

Is it safe to delete cache files on Mac?

User caches are safe to remove because apps rebuild them. System caches should be left to macOS, which DiskVoid does.

Will clearing cache log me out of websites?

Clearing browser caches does not remove cookies or passwords. DiskVoid does not touch saved logins.
